Bond Fact Friday: Vote by Mail Election for Proposed Bond

For Salt Lake County residents, the upcoming general election on November 8 is vote by mail. Everyone will receive a mail-in ballot, without having to request one. The ballots will arrive approximately the second week in October. They must be signed, mailed and postmarked no later than midnight on November 7. You can also drop you ballots off in person at designated polling locations on Election Day

This means you need to plan ahead. We ask that you become educated about the proposed Jordan School District bond. The proposed bond is for $245 million and would cost the average homeowner, $16.80 a year. After a few years, taxes for bond payments would go down and even dip below what you are paying today.DSCN0775
