It is not everyday you get to perform before a crowd of 18,000 people at an NBA game – but that is exactly what a group of South Jordan Elementary School students will soon be doing.
The 4th, 5th and 6th graders have been invited to perform the National Anthem at the Utah Jazz Game at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The students, under the musical direction of teacher Scott Knight, will perform the National Anthem a capella. It is a performance that will honor America and the men and women who serve or have served our country.
The performance is on Wednesday, October 16 – the Jazz take on the Portland Trail Blazers.
We are very proud of these students and their hard work. We wish them the very best of luck at the Jazz game!
